Time:
2:22 pm.
As this space is mostly for GM business (not that there's been too much lately, but the holiday song looms), I thought I'd just point at this new blog for those that might be interested. It's a humble thing, one of so so so many these days, but it has heart and it has an idea and it is called:
Hi all, The time has come again for the Merrick family holiday song, so please accept this as a token of our love and best wishes for you and yours this season.
Happy holidays to you and yours, good friends. Please give the new holiday song a listen--may it bring many happy, contemplative holiday moments: "Silver and Gold" by GM and the dear Cilla Danone.
(Don't forget the old holiday songs, either. There will be one a year until 2014! They're available at www.gordonmerrick.com.)
Another pre-release from the upcoming Gordon and Liz ep is available for you. It is our version of "The Only One I Know" and can be accessed here or from the gordonmerrick.com site. Stay tuned for the christmas song. love, gm
Since I can't make it to the Karacter show this evening, I must content myself with the fact that the official Drivin' n' Cryin' myspace page sought ME out to be friendly with. . . And just when I thought the internet had lost its wonder, its majesty.
Turns out we now have a fondue restaurant here called Little Dipper and it's fantastic. We went there for dessert tonight (chocolate served with pinapple, banana, little cheesecakes, oranges, and pound cake for dipping) but the entrees looked amazing so I'm sure we'll be back. Just so you know. heart, gm
Now available is the Cassingle Mix of "Elephant Stone", the new song from the forthcoming Liz Enthusiasm/Gordon Merrick EP "Manchester on My Mind". The ep will hopefully be available around xmas of 2005.
Also, the new video for "How Deep is Your Love" (big version or small version) is geared up for you and yours! This was lovingly created by our favorite comrade Kip Singleton.
A company that sells fake flying Vs solely for the purpose of air guitaring. A company that also sells giant posters of crowds and amplifier stacks with which to line one's walls. A company that provides a top 50 list of "best air guitar songs" (a list that includes a Ratt song from "Invasion of your Privacy"). I call this a good thing.
